PLANSENS, Data Controller, informs you that your data will be processed as indicated below.
The Controller is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of Personal Data in accordance with the principles of fairness, legality, transparency, and the protection of your rights.
1) TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED
We process personal data provided by you (name, email, company name, phone, etc.) in the course of requests sent spontaneously and data collected automatically by the website.
- Data provided by you: Personal, non-sensitive data communicated by you for making inquiries via email, through the contact form, or over the phone regarding our products/services.
- Data we collect automatically: Anonymous data collected using cookies or similar technologies. For more information, please see the Cookie Policy clicking on cookie setting button, on the bottom left of the screen.
N.B.: Users under the age of 16 cannot provide any personal data without consent from their parents or legal guardians.
2) PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS OF PROCESSING
We will process your personal data:
A) to fulfill our contractual obligations; provide responses to your information requests; calculate a quote you requested; execute contracts for the sale of products or the provision of services; provide necessary support for purchased products and services.
B) to perform aggregate statistical analysis on an anonymous basis to improve our services;
C) for administrative purposes and to comply with legal obligations, such as accounting, tax, or responding to judicial authority requests.
D) in the case of submitting a curriculum vitae, solely for selection purposes.
3) IS DATA PROVIDING MANDATORY?
Providing your data is always optional, but the possible failure to provide them could make it impossible to proceed with certain treatments, such as those strictly related to the performance of a contract or the provision of requested services.
4) LOCATION, PROCESSING METHODS, AND STORAGE PERIODS
The processing of your personal data is carried out through operations indicated in Art. 4 of the Privacy Code and Art. 4(2) of the GDPR, specifically: collection, recording, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, deletion, and destruction of data.
Your personal data is stored at the Data Controller’s office and is subject to both paper and electronic and/or automated processing, strictly related to the purposes mentioned, ensuring the security and confidentiality of the data. The data you submit is not saved within our website.
The Data Controller will process personal data for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes mentioned above and not exceeding 10 years after the termination of the relationship for purposes under point C and not exceeding 38 months from data collection for purposes under point B.
5) DATA ACCESS
Your data may be made accessible for the purposes mentioned in point 2:
- to employees and collaborators of the Data Controller, in their capacity as internal processors and/or administrators of the system;
- to third-party companies or other entities (website hosting provider, cloud provider, e-payment service provider, suppliers, hardware and software support technicians, shippers and carriers, credit institutions, professional firms, etc.) that perform outsourcing activities on behalf of the Data Controller, acting as data processors.
6) DATA TRANSFER
Data will not be disclosed, sold, or exchanged with parties other than the controller, responsible parties, and authorized persons without your express and explicit consent.
7) YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to know what personal data of yours are being processed. In particular, you have the right of access, rectification, deletion, as well as the right to data portability, the right to restrict processing, and the right to object to processing, if the conditions are met.
Below, we provide a brief explanation of the rights granted to you regarding the processing of your personal data.
- The right of access allows you to obtain confirmation of whether your personal data is being processed by the Controller and, if so, access to such data and related information;
- The right to rectification allows you to have inaccurate personal data concerning you corrected without undue delay and, considering the purposes of the processing, to have incomplete personal data completed;
- The right to erasure allows you to have your data erased without undue delay (e.g., when your personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected), subject to exceptions provided by applicable law (e.g., when the retention of your data is necessary for compliance with legal obligations applicable to the data controller). Deletion will be carried out within the technical timeframes;
- The right to data portability allows you, in certain circumstances provided by applicable law, to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. You can transmit this data to another data controller, provided that this right can be recognized in light of applicable law and subject to not harming the rights and freedoms of others;
- The right to restriction of processing allows you, in certain circumstances provided by applicable law, to obtain restriction of the processing of your personal data. In such cases, the Controller may continue processing your data only in certain cases, such as for the exercise of the right to defense or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person;
- The right to object to processing allows you, in certain circumstances provided by applicable law, to object to the processing of your personal data unless there are overriding legitimate reasons, rights, or freedoms that justify the Controller continuing the processing;
